Merkhet Solutions is working to bring Broadcast Positioning System (BPS) to market to provide a terrestrial, GPS-independent solution for critical infrastructure. The vulnerabilities of GPS are no longer hypothetical: jamming, spoofing and outage events are documented across aviation, shipping, energy and finance. The U.S. government has called for terrestrial complements to GPS through executive order 13905 and the National Timing Resilience and Security Act. A single day of GPS disruption could cost the U.S. economy more than $1 billion, according to a 2019 study by NIST.

• Director, BPS Field Engineering
  The director, Broadcast Positioning System (BPS) Field Engineering, is a hands-on technical leader responsible for supporting the development, deployment and operation of NAB’s Broadcast Positioning System (BPS). This role is ideal for an experienced broadcast engineer with deep expertise in ATSC 3.0, RF systems and IP-based infrastructure.
• Project Manager
  The project manager, Broadcast Positioning Systems (BPS), plays a key role in advancing NAB’s next-generation positioning technology initiatives. This position is responsible for managing complex, cross-functional projects related to BPS product development (hardware and software), deployment and testing.
